The Gods Café and Bar

takes its name from the term applied to the occupants of the theatre gallery. They were said to be "seated with the gods".

The Gods Café produces food fresh as the gods intended. The aim is to provide the customer with fresh unique tastes inspired by a range of world cuisine. A new menu is created every six to eight weeks in order to offer variety and encompass the food of the season.

Product from the Gods own kitchen is made from first principles using the choicest local ingredients possible, including:

*Organically grown seasonal vegetables and free-range eggs by Allsun Farm, Gundaroo

*High quality fresh Australian Seafood from Fishco DownUnder, Fyshwick

*'First Principles' bread baked daily at Cornucopia, Braddon

*Artisinal Meat and Game from Country Pride Meat Centre, Lyneham

The Gods' kitchen produces our own cakes and slices which incorporate a range of gluten and dairy free selections. Each menu attempts to cater for most dietary requirements.

Our coffee grinds are available for you to recycle on your garden. Our food scraps are composted.

View our website: www.thegodscafe.com for current menus, functions, catering choices and upcoming events.  Jazz and poetry evenings run for most of the year. Artwork displays are for sale and change every six weeks.
